Industrial Hygiene Manager

The Industrial Hygiene Manager position is exclusively dedicated to our premier client at CEG, where your expertise will shape projects encompassing asbestos, lead, mold, radon, indoor air quality (IAQ), and industrial hygiene.
Your Responsibilities:
- Execute essential functions, ensuring seamless project operations and outcomes.
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Oversee abatement processes, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Collect samples meticulously, contributing to comprehensive data collection.
- Monitor air quality, implementing necessary measures to ensure optimal environments.
- Prepare and provide detailed project reports, capturing critical insights and recommendations.
- Skillfully manage project budgets, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
- Foster effective client communication, building strong and enduring relationships.
- Coordinate subcontractor activities, ensuring a collaborative work environment.
- Uphold rigorous safety protocols, setting an exemplary standard for all team members.
- Possess a deep understanding of environmental hazards, guiding project directions.
Job Requirements:
- Education: An A.S. or B.S. in geology, engineering, chemistry, environmental science, or a related field, OR relevant industry experience with a GED.
- Recommended Experience: 5+ years in Building Sciences related consulting.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in asbestos, lead, mold, or occupational safety are advantageous.
- Must have: asbestos or lead experience or relevant licensing (Philadelphia asbestos license critical)
- Skills: Proficient computer skills and strong verbal/written communication abilities.
- Additional requirements: Must be physically capable of operating vehicles safely, possess a valid driver’s license, have an acceptable driving record, and receive a medical clearance from a baseline physical. Travel within the state or neighboring states may be required, including occasional overnights.
40% of the work is performed in an office setting, while 60% involves traveling to client sites.
