Industry Campaign Manager, AMER Field and Partner Marketing

The AWS Americas Field Marketing team is looking for an Industry Campaign Manager to own the creation, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns within Industry verticals. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to the overall strategy, creative development, implementation and optimization of lead generation campaigns encompassing in-person and virtual events, email nurture campaigns, social media, and site merchandising, tailored to an industry-specific audience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple high-profile marketing projects simultaneously. They have a mind that is equal parts creative and analytical, providing strategic solutions to business problems, as well as being passionate about owning programs, testing and learning, and driving lead acquisition and conversion to achieve SQL pipeline goals. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing multi-channel marketing campaigns encompassing digital marketing, paid media, social media and events. This key team member should have excellent interpersonal skills and written communication skills, in order to be able to tell a campaign story that resonates with the industry-specific audience. Position will be located in an Amazon/AWS U.S. Corp office (see location details below). Relocation offered from within the US only to these locations. Three days per week in-office is required. Travel is expected 1-2 weeks per quarter.

Key job responsibilities
• Creates and executes multi-channel marketing campaigns that are aligned to the industry strategy, which are designed to contribute to sales objectives for the commercial sector in the US and Canada.
• Earn trust and maintain strong relationships with sales & marketing leaders and with peers, increasing engagement with marketing and driving program support. Clear communication is paramount to earning and maintaining trust.
• Defines target audience parameters by campaign, maintains target account lists specific to the industry, provides targeting guidance for email and paid media execution.
• Develops and tests pilot programs and A/B tests to continually improve campaigns.
• Works closely with Event Managers when events are an integral part of marketing campaigns, influencing event registration and attendance goals, event demand generation strategy, and determining the post-event lead follow-up and nurture.
• Identifies content and platform creative for campaign promotion. Ability to dive into what’s working, and what’s not, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Executes promotional content development including post copy and corresponding visuals for paid media or email copy for events and nurtures.
• Contributes to sales visibility into upcoming lead queues and provides enablement materials for post-event and campaign follow-up by sellers. Continually looks for innovative ways to optimize lead funnel.
• Program manages the marketing campaigns and programs they oversee, scheduling recurring meetings, entering programs in Workfront, delivering email communications and recaps, making connections across stakeholder groups, responding to requests from outside stakeholders, etc
• Writes campaign insights based on data to be reviewed by marketing leadership and stakeholders.

AMER Field and Partner Marketing is the critical “last mile” of delivering customer-obsessed marketing campaigns and events which drive demand for AWS’s full portfolio of products and services. We are the face of marketing for our sales teams, acting as a critical bridge between corporate global marketing and local sales teams. AMER includes the US, Canada, and Latin America. Within the field marketing org, the Integrated Campaigns team is responsible for planning priority marketing campaigns, a job we do through ongoing collaboration with partner marketing, product marketing, global campaigns, industry marketing, sales, and others. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

– Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs

– Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation

– Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $64,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
