Boeing Defense Space & Security has an exciting opportunity for a Configuration & Data Management/Tech Integration to join us as part of our Advanced Vertical Lift team located in Mesa, AZ.
Position Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with teams in the development, analysis, management and compliance verification of process and product baselines of complex products
- Defines, plans, coordinates and conducts product and subsystem level technical design reviews and audits for new and derivative products
- Analyzes complex product trades and/or changes and develops technically complete change proposals
- Contributes to the development and implementation of Configuration and Data Management standards, processes and tools
- Defines and allocates Configuration and Data Management requirements for product hardware, software and engineering design data systems throughout the product lifecycle
- Coordinates the integration of product elements and analyzes & resolves issues with engineering product structure
- Develops, integrates and implements engineering technical program plans including impacts, risks and incorporation of lessons learned spanning multiple engineering functions
- Works under general direction
This position is hybrid. This means the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or Internationally depending on business needs.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years’ experience with systems engineering, configuration management, and quality management functions, processes and requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in systems integration with systems engineering processes and procedures
- 3 + years of experience performing data analysis
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years’ experience with the AH-64
- 3+ years’ experience communicating, collaborating, and building consensus with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written skills with ability to communicate task progress and challenges within team and with technical leadership, both internal and external
- Experience in a role that required excellent stakeholder management skills including the ability to communicate with and influence people from varying backgrounds, including members of senior leadership teams
- 3+ years’ experience directing, delegating, and ensuring performance of assigned responsibilities and task as a project team leader
- 3+ years’ experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion
- 3+ years’ experience working directly with manufacturing engineering, design engineering, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools
- 3+ years’ experience integrating supplier or partner plans and schedules into the Program schedule and managing the integrated Master Schedule at the Program level
- 3+ years’ experience with “Engineering Information Delivery (Engineering Drawings etc.)” or the Reference Engineering Drawing Automated Retrieval System (REDARS)
- 3+ years’ experience with leading/managing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Contract Data Requirement List (CDRLs) and/or Supplier Data Requirement List (SDRLs) for complex products
- 3+ years’ experience working with proposals, contracts, and/or contract terms
Typical Education/Experience:
Associate (Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Experienced (Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Note: Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.

Summary pay range for Associate Level: $73,950 – $100,050
Summary pay range for Experienced Level: $90,100 – $121,900
