THE POSITION

The Public Safety IT Delivery Center is seeking an Information Technology Generalist 1 to join our team. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an IT (Information Technology) Generalist, you will be responsible for the management of the Public Safety Service Desk. This includes supporting all user’s IT related problems, providing complete lifecycle asset management, and providing administrative services for all IT equipment. You will have the opportunity to provide guidance on software in the development of RFPs (Request for Proposal) and Statements of Work to ensure compliance of standards, licensing requirements, lifecycle management requirements, and compatibility with the infrastructure to support the business processes.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 4 days a week and reporting in office 1 day a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Information Technology Trainee or Information Technology Technician; or
- Three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services; or
- One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate’s degree in any information technology field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
