Infrastructure Program Manager – Tech, Infrastructure Strategic Collaborations

The AWS Infrastructure Strategic Collaborations is looking for a talented individual to manage high-impact customer-facing programs across Amazon’s global data centers and energy teams. The candidate will help AWS manage a portfolio of strategic customer engagements that accelerate our goal of 100% renewable energy while opening new lines of data center capacity. The candidate will work collaboratively with stakeholders from AWS Infrastructure and Sales teams to facilitate contract execution, drive process improvement projects, and support business development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skillsets with a passion for producing high-quality work. This position involves direct contact with senior leaders and business partners. A successful candidate will have a professional demeanor and be able to communicate effectively with people at every level, both internally and externally.

Specific Responsibilities Include:
• Manage AWS’ global renewable energy strategic partnerships program
• Manage AWS programs that support sales and BD efforts to help AWS customers exit their existing data centers
• Support design of new customer engagement models that minimize cost, risk, and enable sustainable growth
• Drive process improvement projects to streamline execution of strategic customer engagements
• Design metrics for existing and new energy programs globally by collaborating with senior Energy Procurement Managers, Finance business partners, and AWS senior leaders
• Plan and deliver on a roadmap, defining new features to meet emerging customers’ needs
• Lead development of reporting, insights which distill complex data into actionable insights to drive business strategy

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

– 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

– 5+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience

– 5+ years working with Sales

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

– Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

– Experience defining KPI’s/SLA’s used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

– 7+ years working with Sales

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
