Innovation Acceleration Lead

Responsibilities

Manages multiple new or existing organization process improvement initiatives based on company strategic plans. Manages program, project managers, and respective teams to implement organizational processes and best practices. Requires an expertise in managing software development, operations, help desk, and maintenance programs, quality assurance teams, and process improvement initiatives. Must be able to implement and maintain ISO 20000, ISO 27000, ISO 9001, CMMI-DEV, CMMI-SVC programs from ground up. Must be able to implement and maintain a Customer Satisfaction Program; regularly meets with customers and obtains feedback via face-to-face meetings and/or online customer satisfaction surveys. Performs SWOTs as appropriate. Manages the performance of project evaluations, gap analyses, audits, and action plans. Responsible for company process improvement initiatives; back office support (finance, HR, recruiting, etc.), services (ISO, ITIL, CMMI-SVC Level 3), and development projects (CMMI-DEV Level 3). Manages the development and/or modification of processes, procedures, templates, and other process artifacts for organizational process improvement efforts. Performs management functions such as: planning/scheduling, training and mentorship to personnel, ensuring proper resourcing, and status reporting to senior management for all process improvement, QA, and customer satisfaction activities.

Additional Responsibilities:

Reports directly to the Resource Allocation manager. Uses knowledge systems tools to capture what the team learns and uses that knowledge to make better decisions at the right time, and leverage the knowledge into platforms and products. Metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) reinforce the pull for innovation, rather than pushing it aside. Leverages non-traditional partner capabilities to accelerate innovation. Leads Change Management within the portfolio to identify processes that impede speed and develop automation/tools to accelerate delivery. Supported by process Improvement, business process analysis, and quality analysis to drive continuous improvement and continuous delivery across mission areas and through the technical and operational tasks. Interfaces with Industry and government to bring the most current processes and tools to drive innovation across all tasks.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5
  • Agile/Scrum Certification
  • Degree in S.T.E.M. field or Process Management
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Experience in Design, Development and Research
  • Effective oral and written communicator
  • Must Possess Collateral Secret or higher security clearance
  • Proficient with MS Office(Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Experienced with software and hardware automations to accelerate delivery

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prototyping experience
  • Space and Cyber operations Fluent
  • Well-versed in concepts of OSI/DoD Network Layers/functions
  • Joint Operations Planning Experience
  • Knowledgable in Kill chain Analysis
  • Use of Atlassian JIRA tools, software used to guide and manage project software/hardware development and tracking and resolution of issues.
  • Familiarity with C++, Python, MATLAB programming languages.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 – $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
