Position Description

Collaboration is a fundamental part of our organization’s culture and is essential to our continued success. This position is highly collaborative, working with subject matter experts and teams across Applied Medical. Below are some of the common skills and qualities that are sought after for this role.

Customer Focus

Your primary responsibility is to identify customer needs, monitor our customers’ experience with our programs and products, and identify areas of improvement. You will develop and maintain professional relationships with new and existing Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to enhance understanding of clinical needs. Internally, you will assist our Applied Learning and Sales teams with product training and information to promote Applied Medical’s initiatives.

Being a team member within our product management team, you will develop and promote the Applied Medical brand and culture, including participation and contribution to organized national and international meetings and congresses.

Product and Surgical Application Expertise

To strengthen your knowledge as a clinical expert, you will frequently conduct scientific literature reviews, product and program performance evaluations, and competitive analyses to develop educational content and tools for our Simsei curricula. This includes, but is not limited to, didactic lectures, curriculum outlines, cognitive and technical assessments, simulation models and exercises, and activity resources.

You will continue to expand your surgical education expertise with hands-on learning through participation in internal trainings, surgeon interactions, surgical procedure observations, national conferences, and educational programs and events, and studying the competitive landscape, anatomy, physiology, surgical equipment, surgical techniques and procedures, operating room (OR) environments, and relevant learning theories.

Cross-Collaboration

Due to our vertically integrated environment, the Analyst has the opportunity to work cross-collaboratively with our internal and external stakeholders throughout the product’s entire life-cycle. You will cooperate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including subject matter experts, corporate communications, legal, engineering, User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI), branding, and field teams, on the development, quality assurance, and release of educational content and tools. You will also aid with program and product development, launch, implementation, post-market surveillance, and field support as needed.
