The Position
This part-time position within the e-Learning Department will work within the Instructional Design Team in updating and enhancing current online course content, as well as assist in the design and development of interactive educational materials under the guidance of designated team members and/or management. This position will be expected to research and test new technologies that can be used to enhance the design and development of online courses. This position also provides support in assisting faculty, staff, and students in solving common technology issues related e-Learning courses. This position may offer the successful incumbent opportunities for future advancement and/or career development. This position is a fully virtual/remote position in New Jersey.

What You Will Do
1. Reviews, edits, and updates e-Learning course content.
2. Provides assistance with the development and design of new e-Learning courses and educational materials under the guidance of designated team members and/or management.
3. Creates engaging, interactive activities and course content that enhance the design of e-Learning courses.
4. Develops and maintains positive relationships with stakeholders and SMEs involved in the design and development of e-Learning courses.
5. Conducts research and tests on learning technologies; helps with data collection and analysis; prepares reports and/or surveys.
6. Assists faculty, staff and students in solving common technology issues and seeks guidance to learn how to handle and resolve more complex diagnostic problems.
7. Remains current with emerging technologies, new products, methodologies, and pedagogy.
8. Create and maintain process and procedure documentation as it pertains to course design and tools and techniques for course development.
9. Related duties, projects and initiatives as assigned.
The Successful Candidate Must Have
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Instructional or Educational Technology, or closely related academic discipline.
2. At least one year of related experience, and one year involved in the use of an online instructional platform (Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, D2L or similar).
3. One year of experience in a team-oriented setting.
4. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and prior exposure to a database system that required the ability to create standard reports.
