Description
The Business Finance Instructor is a part-time position. The instructor will be an entrepreneurial-minded financial planning advisor that can provide businesses and families in our community with their financial planning needs. This role involves teaching several different Community Education courses. Some courses include Securing Your Future, Starting a Home Business, The Business of Running a Small Business, Financial Readiness for Small Businesses, The Fundamentals of Event Planning, and Bookkeeping for Small Businesses. Other ideas are welcomed as this position can grow over time to meet the needs of the community. This position reports to the Director, Community Education, Workforce Development, and Testing.
Examples of Duties

  1. Competent at teaching financial topics and creating effective learning experiences.
  2. Provide a wide array of financial educational information.
  3. Plan and implement course outline for each topic.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Have experience working with a wide range of ages and experience levels preferred.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills in a classroom setting preferred.
