Integrated Business Planning IT Data Manager

Overview

Looking for a self-motivated Data analyst, who will be accountable for the PepsiCo’s Sector Data identification, analysis, and integration for the global IBP program. This role will adopt and adhere to PepsiCo’s SAFe agile principles. Ability to provide IT and Functional knowledge to enable common global designs, data, reporting and analytics and own the mapping of Data for IBP integration. The role needs to analyze and define PBNA data sources in collaboration with the global groups. Ability to navigate and translate data areas in Legacy and PGT environments.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of IT analyst resources and in collaborate with business partners and IT partners to define and fulfill the data requirements for Sector and global IBP implementation. Ensure the right data standards are adhered to and all necessary data documents are produced for successful implementation and sustain of the solution. Role will partner with broader DevSecOps teams to ensure data quality and testing functions are enabled.

Act as advocate of change. Willing to challenge status quo and ask difficult questions to drive for optimum solutions and outcomes. Ability to influence and work through others. Open to new ways of working, adopting industry standard toolsets and best practices in enabling Sector data pipelines. Ability to articulate or demonstrate perspectives and experiences. Ability to deliver high quality outcomes particularly under tight timelines. Collaborate with other IT leads to ensure there is one version of the truth for PepsiCo’s Beverage Sector data. Ability to grasp product and domain knowledge quickly both technically as well functionally and become subject matter expert.

Manage the Data object priorities in collaboration with the global groups and define and align on timelines and delivery schedules.

  • Own the IBP data technical process including identification, ingestion, cleansing for Pepsi Sectors
  • Drive Pepsico IBP data requirements and identification of sources and alignment to global models for global IBP program. Drive the Global Data Object mappings.
  • Drive business partnership with Global S&T and gIBP leadership for data enablement.
  • Ensure data context and one source of truth for Sector by partnering with Functional Leadership (Supply Chain, GTM Operations, Commercial, S&T) and Sector IT leadership.
  • Ensure historical data is identified and ingested through Enterprise Data as per agreed timeline and requirements.
  • Collaborate with MRA business and DSO teams to ensure PepsiCo sourced datasets is certified and aligned with Sector Modern Reporting Analytics strategy.
  • Manage a highly functional Agile team within Onsite, Nearshore and Offshore locations.

Compensation & Benefits:
• The expected compensation range for this position is between $98,700 – $165,150.
• Location confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
• Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
• Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of IT experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in data analytics and data integration expertise.

Technical Skills

  • Good data analytical skills.
  • Ability to read data model diagrams and understand data relationships.
  • Ability to navigate database platforms to analyze and map data.
  • Safe Agile certified with ability to lead an agile team.
  • Good understanding of cloud technologies in Azure, ADF, Synapse and Databricks.
  • Ability to query multiple databases like Oracle, Sybase, Hana and Teradata.
  • In depth knowledge of Beverage Business systems and Data.
  • Working knowledge of Master data related to Product, Customer and Location along with hierarchies in Beverage Industries.

Non-Technical Skills

  • Good Verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to communicate and work with leadership roles (LG1-LG3).
  • Functional and data knowledge of Direct Store Delivery and Warehouse delivery systems.
