As an Integrated Media Manager, you will be responsible for hands on development, management, execution, and optimization of integrated, full funnel media campaigns for an assigned portfolio of brands. As a holistic media expert, you will engage consumers with strategic investments in all brand building paid media plans (traditional and digital with a strong emphasis on digital media) through customized targeting strategies. In this highly visible and cross functional role, you will act as a trusted advisor and partner to our brand teams, assisting in both the strategic and day to day management of the media agency and media partners to execute on brand and enterprise goals. This role will support and report into a Director of Paid Media and work collaboratively with other Media Team members.

This role is based in the New York (metro area) with requirements to travel to California (San Francisco or surrounding areas) and other areas of the US as needed to support the business.

What You Will Do:

  • Manages the media planning process from the development of strategic media briefs that align with brand goals, through implementation for assigned portfolio of brands working in partnership with brand marketing and other internal business teams.
  • Supports the management of the overall media agency relationship by providing direction and guidance at the strategic level as well as the day-to-day for planning, execution and optimization of paid media spend.
  • Supports the strategic oversight of all paid media channel planning and stewardship. Also supports driving digital integration and innovation across video, SEM/SEO, Display, social, strategic media partnerships, programmatic and eCommerce.
  • Develops actionable performance media reports in partnership with Analytics and Insights groups, media agencies, and partners utilizing industry trends, business environment and media results (including measurement insights from tools such as Full Funnel modeling) that are presented to and shared across teams.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert by monitoring the media marketplace and Alc Bev industry competitors to identify trends, testing opportunities and best practices.
  • Delivers on-going paid media thought leadership and education to marketing partners through the development and deployment of paid media best practices for the Enterprise.
  • Identifies ways that media can support Customer and Retail initiatives in partnership with the eCommerce and Commerce teams.
  • Works closely with agencies and internal teams to drive and evaluate consumer insights and data to welcome new friends to wine.
  • Evaluates new media opportunities, technologies and platforms to assist in assessment and execution of marketing initiatives and ROI.
  • Authors content that increases the acumen of the broader Gallo marketing community delivered through both formal and informal trainings.
  • Helps create key performance indicators to maximize our paid media investments.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of digital marketing and media experience to include media planning and buying reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of agency or CPG paid media experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Master’s degree plus 5 years of digital marketing and media experience to include media planning and buying reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Master’s degree plus 5 years of agency or CPG paid media experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 11 years of digital marketing and media experience to include media planning and buying reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience in cross channel integrated media strategy and communications planning.
  • Experience developing TV and digital buying strategies with a focus on advanced/connected TV, Search, Programmatic, social and eCommerce.
  • Experience with full funnel media planning/holistic integrated strategy approaches and measuring campaigns against KPIs.
  • Strong understanding of Paid, Owned and Earned aspects of digital marketing and how it fits as part of an overall integrated marketing mix.
  • Ability to build relationships and manage performance of key partners.
  • Proven ability to oversee multiple, high-profile projects end-to-end and on time in a highly dynamic, collaborative, and matrixed environment.
  • Experience working with various adtech solutions including DSP’s, DMP’s, and other audience solutions.
  • Experience extracting and developing insights from data and presenting performance, optimizations, and recommendations to cross-functional teams
  • Significant organizational skills to work effectively in a fast paced, high campaign volume environment demanding quick responses.
  • Strong presentation and negotiations skills to garner support from marketing teams/leadership and persuade them on media recommendations.
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience managing teams/cross functional work relationships, both internally and with external agency and media partners.
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver multiple products or services concurrently under time constraints.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery for approximately 1 week every month, with or without reasonable accommodation. What Will Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of agency or CPG paid media experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Master’s degree plus 7 years of agency or CPG paid media experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Client and/or media agency experience.
  • Experience influencing the decision making of diverse, high-level stakeholders.
  • Experience demonstrating key leadership behaviors of providing business perspective, inspiring and leading teams, leading change, and a high level of commitment.
  • CPG or Alcohol Beverage industry experience.
  • TV, Print, Audio and out of home experience.
  • Experience managing omni-channel paid media programs for a national CPG, alc bev, or DTC brands.
  • Experience managing a large portfolio of brands with a wide variety of budgets with proven success.
  • Demonstrable thought leadership on innovation and emerging media.
  • Experience in performance driven media, development and implementation of data driven strategies and 1st party data acquisition strategies and media deployment.

Compensation

  • Hiring Salary Range: $110,200 – $165,400.
  • Actual compensation amount paid may be lower or higher to be determined by factors other than race and gender such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
