Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an Integration QA Engineer (API Testing)!
Position type: Contract (W-2 of C2C)
Duration: 12 months, extendable long term.
Location: 100% remote always. EST/Central working hours.
Our company is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Integration QA Engineer to join our team in a remote long-term contract position.
As an Integration QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our API integrations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive testing of APIs and integration points to ensure proper functionality and adherence to specifications.
- Design and develop test cases, test plans, and test scripts for API testing.
- Execute both manual and automated tests using scripting languages such as Python or Java.
- Utilize tools such as SOAP UI, Postman, and Swagger for API testing and validation.
- Utilize strong SQL skills to write and execute SQL queries for data validation and verification.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to identify and resolve integration issues.
- Analyze and interpret test results, identify defects, and track them to closure.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of the overall testing strategy.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to API testing, integration quality assurance, and data modeling/analysis.
Must-Have Skills:
- Proven experience in integration testing, specifically with API testing.
- Strong SQL skills and the ability to write SQL queries for data validation and verification.
- Experience in testing APIs with a strong understanding of integration testing principles.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Java.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools like SOAP UI, Postman, and Swagger.
- Experience or exposure to AWS Glue and Pyspark.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meticulously follow test plans.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience or exposure to AWS Step Functions or other AWS services.
- Familiarity with data modeling and analysis.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $60-73/hr w2 or $65-78/hr c2c
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
