This role in summary
Responsible for providing value to our customers by ensuring that finished goods are received, stored and shipped in compliance with Whirlpool’s quality and performance standards. Assure the efficient use of warehouse resources to provide timely shipments and receipts. Also for collecting and reporting data necessary to achieve a high level of service to all customers.
Additional information
This position is for 2nd shift. Monday thru Friday 12pm – 8:30pm. Starting wage is $21.00 plus $1.25 shift differential.
Your responsibilities will include
- Coordinate daily shipments and assure that orders are activated and completed in an accurate, timely, and cost effective manner from the warehouse.
- Match actual product to associated documentation; record transactions in Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Research and resolve discrepancies between actual product and associated documentation.
- Coordinate workflow within the warehouse in order to achieve efficient “hourly” manpower utilization and attainment of shipping schedules.
- Respond to internal and external requests for information regarding receiving/shipping data or issues.
- Perform work safely and in accordance with company and customer standards and safety regulations.
- Report any and all unsafe conditions to the appropriate person.
- Perform additional related duties in the department, various tasks and duties may be assigned.

Minimum requirements
Good communications skills with customers inside and outside the facility.
Good computer skills, google docs, sheets, email, etc.
Ability to multitask
Knowledge of Logics, ICCA, SAP and hand held radios is helpful. Willingness to learn.
Preferred skills and experiences
At least 18 years old
High school diploma / GED
Communication skills
Computer skills
Forklift experience helpful, willingness to learn
