Organizational Objective
DreamSpring needs a robust technological infrastructure to support Staff’s day-to-day requirements necessary to effect impact. The problem is that this infrastructure requires regular maintenance, intentional effort to ensure adherence to modern data security practices, a myriad of vendors, and the implementation of updated and/or new solutions.
Position Summary:
Under direct supervision of the Director of Operations & Technology assists with IT infrastructure, data, and operations projects and implementations. Manages the technology vendor relationship. Manages cybersecurity plans and implementations. Understands data models in order to accurately extract data and perform data analysis using business intelligence tools.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Vendor Management
Responsible for IT vendors including managing the vendor relationship, operations, and ensuring agreements, contracts and deliverables are met, including:
- Ensures standards for vendors are documented and monitors vendor compliance to these standards.
- Ensures that guidelines for selecting and on-boarding vendors are documented
- Serves as a guide and resource for Staff to properly on-board vendors into the organization.
- Ensures that each vendor has an established and valid method of payment (if auto paid by credit card, the Vendor Manager’s card is used)
- Maintains a database of all vendors, known contacts, and relationship terms (renewal dates, lead times for notifications)
- Retains copy of all fully executed contracts, agreements, and other binding documents pertaining to a vendor.
- Updating, renewing, and canceling vendor contracts whenever needed
- Maintaining and updating all vendor documentation
- Updating contract terms of existing vendors
- Altering external contract terms and conditions to suit current industry developments.
- Establishing standards by which to assess the performance of approved vendors
- Evaluating current vendor management programs and identifying ways to improve them.
- As requested, assist in the initial identification of potential new vendors for evaluation by the line of business
- Works to reduce or prevent redundancy of vendors, unless deemed desirable by the line of business.
IT Services Management
Responsible for overall planning and management of all IT services, including quality of systems, inventory, onboarding and offboarding standards, and IT purchase and usage policies, including:
- Responsible for ensuring mission-critical infrastructure (eg. Email, phones, networking, hardware) is available, reliable, and exceeds the needs of daily usage.
- Monitors industry trends, identifies new technologies that, when implemented, further empowers Staff in the execution of their work.
- Takes ownership of one-off projects, as assigned, and drives the effort to completion.
- Assists with efforts to modernize and strengthen internal IT infrastructure including cloud server migration, single sign-on, and system integrations.
- Owns the relationship with IT services providers and management of other technology, operations, and security vendors.
- Develops project planning roadmaps, timelines, and identify key stakeholders in project planning.
- Ensures aspects of a project are dully attended to and completed at the right time, regardless of challenges that may be encountered.
- Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required. (Business, Information Systems, Technology, Operations, or a similar field is strongly preferred.)
- One year working experience managing and implementing technology projects and service providers.
- Project Management certification and experience preferred.
- Current valid State Driver’s License.
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel crouch, or crawl and be able to reach out and pick-up and hold small objects. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
Work is generally performed in an office setting. This is a hybrid in-office role. It is required that the person in this role lives within driving distance of DreamSpring’s home office in Albuquerque, NM.
The salary range is $25 – $32+ per hour depending upon years of relevant experience and education.
