At the present time, a vacancy exists within the Administrative Services department of the Chester County Intermediate Unit for night time Custodian at the Child & Career Development Center in Coatesville, PA. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 2:00PM to 10:00PM.

The CCIU is currently offering a sign on bonus of up to $1,500 for candidates who apply and are subsequintly hired for a position between March 16, 2023, and October 31, 2023. More information will be shared with eligible individuals at the time of hire.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of institutional cleaning methods and processes
- Current police, child abuse & FBI Fingerprint clearances required
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain building facilities
- Utilizing and operating appropriate equipment, perform routine facilities maintenance, landscaping, lawn care, and snow removal.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclable items
- Set up and breakdown tables and chairs for special events
- Assist with the receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies
- Operate buffer, floor-care machines, vacuums, drills, and other small power tools
