ECC is seeking a Construction Intern based in our Denver (Lakewood) office – local candidates please.This position will work with the Program Manager and construction management team on a large airfield project located in northern California. Initially the selected Intern will work out of our Lakewood office and once the project starts on on-site they will have the opportunity to work on site at the project location (travel expenses will be provided). This will be a temporary full-time (40 hours per week) position. Candidates should have a strong interest in large construction projects and a willingness to travel. In this position, you will:
- Work with field and office engineers onsite, performing surveying, drawing and submittal reviews, and as-built construction reviews/checks in the field.
- Be embedded with the Quality and Safety Teams to review quality and safety requirements, perform inspections and generate reports.
- Under close supervision and following specific instructions, performs basic duties in support of the department
- May be assigned to complete special projects
- In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position
Requirements
- Ability to communicate in written and verbal formats
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Education: This position requires a high school diploma and must be currently enrolled as a second, third, or fourth year student in an accredited university working towards a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering (civil, electrical or mechanical) from an accredited university.

- Basis knowledge in related field
The rate will be $18-20/hr and approximately 40 hours/wk.
