Job description:

In your new role you will:

• Support the fulfillment of compliance and internal management system requirements for occupational health and safety, and environmental protection
• Work side-by-side EHS professionals for the integration of safety programs into R&D lab operations
• Organize EHS databases and standardize processes across all R&D lab/office sites
• Improve the EHS Dept. ability to share best practices and communicate standards, tools and lessons across all R&D lab/office sites
• Support EHS training compliance
• Participate in site audits and inspections, and work closely with technical teams to close out corrective action plans

Your Profile:

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A working degree or courses competed in the Environmental /Health sector, or Chemical Engineering
• The ability to start January 2024 and work a minimum of 20 hours/week during the spring semester at our Murrieta (preferred), San Diego, Irvine, or El Segundo office
• Administrative and organizational skills, expert in communication, writing, and documentation abilities; as well as strong time management skills
