Position: Internal Communications Intern Department: Human Resources

Position Summary:
Working under the direction of the Internal Communications Manager, the Internal Communications Intern will help create engaging content and events for employees. They will gain a broader understanding of internal communications roles within an organization. Candidates should have excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills, strong writing, and social media aptitude.

Pay: $13 per hour
Hours: 25-29 hours per week – Monday through Friday
Duration: May 01, 2023, with three month or six-month options
Internal Communications Intern
TTCU Federal Credit Union’s Internal Communications team is looking for a highly motivated, creative, and organized communications intern.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of internal communications to help drive business priorities.
- Assist in the development and execution of communications campaigns such as Human Resources monthly themes, United Way Week, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts, etc.
- Write articles, post stories and brainstorm new ideas for company intranet and internal channels.
- Conceptualize, design, create and distribute visually compelling content for TTCUs intranet and other company communication channels or materials (digital and printed).
- Assist in maintaining communications calendars.
- Assist in producing internal company videos.
- Engage with multiple business units and provide excellent customer service.
- Participate in Human Resources and employee engagement meetings, projects, tasks, and events, as needed.
- Ability to do research.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Currently attending or recently completed degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, or related business field
- Ability to write in an AP (Associated Press) stylePreferred.
- Must be a forward thinker, responsive andcreative.
- Possess a professional demeanor with a positiveattitude.
- Exhibit a self-starterattitude.
- Must have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to fast changing businesspriorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite includingTeams.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign Premiere, Premiere Rush, Lightroom, etc.), Canva, Digital signage.
- Experience with video editing/streaming apps a plus
