The Inventory Control Technician that supports our Calibration Solutions business has responsibility for the activities to ensure proper physical and systematic control and accuracy of inventory into, within, and out of the Mesa operations at both a component and finished goods level.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Model personal Lean Philosophy 5S behaviors in creating a continuously improving, clean, well-organized and self-maintaining work environment. Work closely with team members and others to motivate and improve 5S knowledge and implementation.
- Follow a continuous improvement approach for team accountability for achieving high performance SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, & Morale) targets through a visual work environment.
- Complies with company ethics, code of conduct, policies, and best practices, with a commitment to safety in the workplace, valuing of diversity, and promotion of a harassment-free environment.
- Comply with SOX regulations with regards to inventory.
- Responsible for all work order transaction, issuances, and warehouse transfers between manufacturing facilities.
- Responsible for operation of the fork lift (training and certification provided).
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Education:
- This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Two or more years’ experience in a manufacturing inventory.
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience
- Intermediate mathematical skills are important for understanding basic calculations.
- Intermediate computer skills and knowledge working with Microsoft Suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Qualitative and quantitative reasoning.
- Self-Management – use time efficiently, use professionalism by accepting responsibility for own actions.
- Effective communication skills
- Team work
- Quality – demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; look for ways to improve and promote quality.
- Safety and Security – observe safety and secure procedures, report potential unsafe conditions and use equipment and materials properly.
Compensation/Benefits:
Salary for this position is $19/hr.
