CEG is hiring an Inventory Manager to support our client at their Baton Rouge, Louisiana location.

Proficiency in critical aspects such as cycle counting and the ability to navigate the nuances of seasonal ordering is paramount. DESCRIPTION:

The Inventory Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of the location and will be expected to work closely with the Operations Manager to provide the necessary expertise, oversight, and support needed to grow the business.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviewing all new quotes for accuracy.
  • Creating all invoices for sales of new goods.
  • Inventory control and warehouse maintenance and upkeep.
  • Purchasing and receiving inventory from vendors.
  • Coordinating shipping for all outbound shipments.
  • Coordinate daily warehouse operations to support internal and external customers (including but not limited to daily pickups and deliveries to Louisiana Machinery and jobsite locations).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3 to 5 years of management experience
  • Excellent understanding of the rental industry preferred
  • Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
