Your Task
- Supervise performance objectives through timely and effective distribution resource management and response to variable priorities, volume, and business conditions
- Develops and maintains cycle count/inventory planning and controls to enhance and improve finished goods distribution along with the handling, warehousing, and disbursement of raw materials
- Interprets company policies to employees and enforces safety regulations
- Establishes or adjusts work schedules to meet shipment deadlines
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate employees
- 3rd shift (9:00 pm – 5:30 pm) weekends and overtime as required
- Travel Requirements minimal
Your Profile:
- General Safety training to perform the job
- Excellent skills in mathematics are necessary
- Forklift license preferred
- Knowledge of Windows computer systems required
- Knowledge of MS Office preferred
- Knowledge of SAP or other WMS required
- Lean Six Sigma experience preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or six years of work experience in a Warehouse environment required
- APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds overhead
- May have to reach heights up to 40 feet using a lift truck, order picker, or Turret truck
- Must be able to climb and stack cartons at a height of 15 feet
- Must be able to push and pull pallet jacks with weight ranges up to 1500 pounds
- May work with hazardous materials
