ITE Management, a leading investment manager specializing in the transportation sector, is looking for an Investment Associate to join its dynamic and rapidly growing team in NY or Chicago. The candidate will work closely with senior members of the firm to evaluate and execute on strategic transactions in real assets and operating platforms.

Our team of professionals provide extensive experience in investments, portfolio management, risk management, data analytics, credit analysis, and industry-specific operations. The new associate will be an integral part of our team and a contributor to the firm’s growth.
Today, the firm manages over $3.3bn of investor capital across various industrial and transportation related verticals, with office locations in NYC, Chicago, and St. Louis. Due to the firm’s dynamic and forward-thinking approach, the capital commitments have tripled in the past three years. Today, ITE manages approximately $6bn of real assets across freight railcars, commercial aircraft, and intermodal.
Responsibilities:
- Extensive corporate financial modeling (debt and equity) and asset valuation
- Qualitative and quantitative business, financial, and other due diligence in conjunction with the deal team and third-party advisors, agents, accountants
- Preparing internal materials, including Investment Memorandums and transaction analysis for presentation to Investment Committee
- Monitoring and supporting investment assets and portfolio companies
- Investment research including industry / sector analysis
Requirements
- 2-3 years investment banking, investment firm or fund experience
- M&A and/or alternative asset experience a plus
- Strong academic record
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Ability to manage a process from start to finish with true ownership in areas that might be new to both the individual and even the firm
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to take direction but also to be independent
- Willingness to take on what’s needed to support the team

Salary Range:
Estimated base salary range for this position is: $90,000-130,000. Employees may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
