Investment Specialist (MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE)

Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Provide investment advice and solutions to high net worth clients in Latin America. Conduct investment reviews with clients to validate the clients’ current investment objectives, and prepare recommendations for appropriate investment products. Develop investment policy statements and provide advice on asset allocation. Support sales efforts made by investors. Assist bankers to win new clients, and strengthen existing client relationships. Adhere to internal and external policies and procedures regarding securities transactions and code of conduct.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Banker/Investor/Financial Analyst, Consultant (Finance), or related occupation (experience can be gained pre- or post-Bachelor’s degree). The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as Banker/Investor/Financial Analyst, Consultant (Finance), or related occupation (experience can be gained pre- or post-Bachelor’s degree).

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: creating presentations for clients using Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat PDF Pro; running portfolio analysis and financial modeling using Microsoft Excel; accessing economic news, financial market data/analytics, and price quotes using Thomson Reuters Eikon and Bloomberg Terminal; and comparing potential allocation strategies and generating multi-period projections based on complex market conditions using Monte Carlo Simulation analysis. This position requires experience with the following asset class products: Global Equities; Taxable and Emerging Markets Fixed Income; Mutual Funds and Liquid Alternatives; and Structured Products (including Phoenix Notes, Buffered Return Enhanced Notes, Callable Enhanced Market Plus, Annual Review Notes, Credit Linked Notes, Reverse Convertibles, and Dual Directional Buffered Equity Notes). Experience in the skills can be gained pre- or post-Bachelor’s degree.

Job Location: 390 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10017. This position requires up to 25% domestic and international travel. Telecommuting permitted 10% of the time.

Salary: $157,352-$250,000.00 per year.
