JOB SUMMARY: Under limited supervision: Prepares and submits daily and monthly remittance reports to various investors. Performs all required reconciliations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Fundamental Duties
1. Prepares and balances remittance reports for all investors, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, according to each investor’s requirements as to report format, remittance method, and deadlines.
2. Researches and responds to investor inquiries as required.
3. Updates manual when reporting requirements are changed.
4. Performs custodial account reconciliations as required. Researches and corrects differences.
5. Coordinates functions with other departmental staff.
Marginal Functions:
6. Completes system call backs of new loan data.
7. Participates in special projects and performs other job related duties as required.
Requirements
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS NEEDED TO PERFORM JOB FUNCTIONS:
Incumbent must have prior experience in investor reporting, with emphasis on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and a working knowledge of loan servicing functions. Must be able to use PC’s and other office machines. Good communication, interpersonal and math skills are essential.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Sits for long periods of time utilizing computer terminal.
MENTAL DEMANDS:
Prioritizes assigned tasks to ensure work is completed within required time frames. Balance financial data in reports in a timely manner.
EQUIPMENT USED TO PERFORM FUNCTIONS:
Computer terminal, printers, calculator, typewriter, photocopier, fax machine and telephone.
DECISION MAKING:

Determines what actions need to be taken to reconcile differences between our records and those of the investor.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Monitors reporting and remitting procedures to ensure that penalties are not incurred.
