Job Summary
Cognizant is looking for an experienced top-notch Native iOS Architect developer to grow with our dev team! As an iOS Architect, you will be involved from conception to completion with projects that are technologically sound and aesthetically impressive. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative team. Someone that values the “team” and maximizes the opinions and expertise of their teammates to deliver quality.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Clearly understands the role and competency-proficiency expectations for self
- Demonstrate an appreciation of diversity and inclusion in professional interactions
- Solicit performance feedback and use it to identify proficiency gaps in the remit of the role
- Periodically evaluate team performance and provide the adequate feedback required to help members move along the path to enhance their competency
- Track the team performance on a regular basis and report any risk to delivery
- Proactively identify improvement areas and provide candid feedback using suitable communication techniques
- Identify improvement areas and work on improvement plans for self
- As part of the project lifecycle updates the various KPIs in Cognizant and Customer System
- Tracks and reports the measurable KPI to the Cognizant Delivery Excellence team and Customer stakeholders
- Implements get a good plan for metrics that do not meet the threshold.
Key Qualifications
• Min 10+ years of experience in mobile development including both mobile client and backend systems.
• Very Good hands-on knowledge/Experience of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies and understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Knowledge of architectural design patterns, performance tuning, database, and functional designs.
• Full stack experience in Mobile Application Development, Azure, and Dot Net.
• Experience with iOS development and frameworks (Obj-c, XCode, IOS Applications and experience in Core Data, Core Animation, as well as offline storage, threading, and performance tuning).
• Experience with Android development and frameworks (Java, Kotlin, Jetpack as well as offline storage, threading, and performance tuning).
• Good knowledge of CI/CD tools, leveraging automation to streamline efficiency (faster release cycles)
• Airline domain knowledge is a plus

The Salary rate for this position is between $120K – 173K, depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
