Summary:
Goldbelt Security is currently seeking an Program Support Specialist for the IPPS-A program. This is an on-site position in Washington, D.C.
The successful candidate will provide HR/Administrative support to the Office of the Chief of Chaplains by facilitating the Army’s Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A). IPPS-A is the Army’s Web-based Human Resources (HR) solution to provide integrated HR capabilities across all Army Components. The candidate will assist in managing personnel and pay information and other processing tasks and provide fundamental user training of IPPS-A via Teams.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide daily customer support to our military personnel, pull reports as needed from IPPS-A
- Assists team members as needed with training on the system
- Authors and records military & civilian awards, to include maintaining tracker
- Facilitates In & Out Processing to include maintaining tracker
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Understands IPPS-A (all aspects) – Very well-versed in the system, will, assists team members as needed with training on the system
- Must be very organized and have attention to detail, customer service focused
- Working independently and exercising expert judgment, reviews, examines, evaluates, and analyzes Department of the Army regulations
- Well-versed in civilian personnel action systems such as AutoNoa (Routing of Requests for Personnel Action), USA Staffing (OPM’s talent acquisition system for Federal agencies), and DCPDS (Defense Civilian Personnel Data System)
- Maintains knowledge of military personnel programs (i.e., records accountability/maintenance, personnel actions, in/out processing, reassignments, separations, unit administration, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum two (2) years IPPS-A experience
- Minimum seven (7) years in an Administrative or Human Resources related field
- Working hours 0800-1600
- Secret Clearance is required
The salary range for this position is $75,000 – $80,000 annually.
