Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Project Manager based out of our location in Beaverton, OR.
This role is remote and can sit in the footprint of Providence in the states of OR, WA, and CA.
Qualified candidates will receive additional text interview questions upon application to expedite the review process.
We are seeking a Project Manager to be accountable for multiple, diverse and complex projects in the areas of information services projects, quality improvement; and strategic objectives/goals. Manages all aspects of projects with direct accountability to the Executive Sponsor.
Ensures projects are planned and executed in a manner that supports the Information Systems department and Providence Health Plan objectives.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
- Manage expectations from initial problem identification and through the project life-cycle.
- Develop and gain sponsor approval and sign-off of the project charter and work breakdown schedule.
- Develop and lead the project team to the delivery of successful project outcomes.
- Build and manage multiple, multi-functional collaborative project and/or work teams.
- Provide expert support to the Information Systems department in prioritizing deliverables and objectives rapidly in an ever-changing environment.
- Coordinate the activities of multi-functional teams, as well as the project budget, task dependencies, and schedule.
- Scope, risk and issue management, including documenting, communicating and facilitating resolutions or mitigation plans.
- Develop root cause analyses and process improvement plans.
- Develop, initiate, and manage a communication plan, including regular project status reports.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent educ/experience
- 3 years experience with project or program management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Working in the healthcare industry
- Experience incorporating process improvement methodologies into large scale projects
- Experience facilitating complex decision making among multiple executive stakeholders with different interests and priorities
- Experience in vendor / contract management and negotiations
- Experience developing and implementing benchmarks and metrics in support of improved quality and process design
The salary range listed for this position MIN:$36.37 to MAX:$58.72 per hour is based upon the primary work location Beaverton, OR posted. This position is remote. Salary range and offers are determined by internal pay equity and geographic cost of living differences. Salary rage will vary from State and region. Salary max is limited to 85% range in order to continue to offer internal pay growth. We welcome open and transparent discussions on salary at Providence.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
