This position will be a system administrator for the agency Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system applications and usage. The position will be expected to analyze problems and to determine solutions as well as assist in implementing new applications. Location and address of position: 245 Fallbrook Blvd – Suite 100 – Lincoln, NE
Work schedule: Monday – Friday – 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Flexible schedule, remote work, and 10-hour workdays may be allowed after six-month probation with management approval.
Examples of Work
Serve as a subject matter expert for the agency for all Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system related processes. Including determination of the business need and/or requirements, analyze business process and communicate with applications developers about agency business requirements and to develop business process solutions. Provide first level of support, technical assistance and instruction for agency staff and external customers. Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles.
Develop ECM instructional manuals for internal and external customers. Document appropriate business rules, policies, and standards. Perform agency administrative ECM functions for internal and external customers. Resolve errors by investigating reported system malfunctions and document findings. Working in conjunction with the agency Training Coordinator will develop and provide the necessary training for staff and external customers for all ECM system functionality. Provide training to end users. Perform migration testing on all agency applications for each new ECM release. Participate in system analysis and design. Build and maintain data test files and perform system testing.
Qualifications / Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: Post high school coursework, training, or experience in the analysis of business processes and system requirements, and the creation of business process applications.
PREFERRED: Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management Systems. Experience developing instructional manuals. Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Strong problem-solving skills.
OTHER: Valid driver’s license or ability to provide independent transportation, Ability to lift 30 pounds, ability to sit at computer for extended periods of time, regular and reliable attendance required.
