To ensure the consistency, standardization, cost management, and manageability of these emerging digital footprints, we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer Cloud Data Lake Integration to join our team.
Pactiv Evergreen utilizes various applications such as SAP, Blue Yonder, One Stream , and more. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in establishing efficient and reliable data management practices within our organization. The bulk of the data engineer’s work would be in building, managing and optimizing data pipelines and then moving these data pipelines effectively into production for key data and analytics consumers like business/data analysts, data scientists or any persona that needs curated data for data and analytics use cases across the enterprise.
This role will require both creative and collaborative working with IT and the wider business. It will involve evangelizing effective data management practices and promoting better understanding of data and analytics. The data engineer will also be tasked with working with key business stakeholders, IT experts and subject-matter experts to plan and deliver optimal analytics and data science solutions.
The position reports to the Director of Data Warehouse and Data Lake.
Required Skills & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years management experience; or, an advanced degree and 3+ years of management experience with Data Integration and platform build; Management experience a plus
* Proven experience in ETL practices using tools such as SAP Data Services, SAP SLT, etc.
* Deep technical knowledge around data architecture, cloud platforms, modern data ETL tools and languages, and data governance
* Experience with Azure Data Factory, and Synapse is must
* Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, practices, and industry standards.
* Experience working with multiple business units and applications such as SAP, Blue Yonder, One Stream, etc.
* Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and BOBJ.
