About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Finance Manager to join our team. As an IT Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our IT department. You will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting for IT initiatives. Your expertise will ensure the financial success and efficiency of our IT operations while aligning with the overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IT financial management, a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and experience implementing a new finance system.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts for IT projects and operations
  • Lead the development and management of IT budgets, working closely with IT leadership and stakeholders
  • Provide insightful variance analysis and reporting on budget performance
  • Evaluate the financial impact of IT initiatives, projects, and vendor contracts
  • Negotiate and consolidate IT vendor contracts when necessary to minimize costs while still maximizing value and performance
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate IT-related financial audits
  • Participate in IT strategic planning, providing financial insights to support decision-making
  • Assist in the evaluation of potential IT investments, conducting financial due diligence and risk analysis
  • Lead efforts in rolling out new FP&A software to streamline financial processes and reporting, enhance data accuracy, increase efficiency, and to better comply with regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Senior Financial Analyst, or similar role within an IT environment
  • In-depth knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial reporting
  • Proficient in financial analysis tools and techniques, with advanced Excel skills
  • Experience implementing and rolling out an FP&A software system
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • This position is hybrid in the Alhambra/LA area
  • The target total compensation range for this role is: $115,000 – $135,000. The salary range represents our national target range for this role
