IT Help Desk Supervisor

As the IT Help Desk Supervisor, you will plan, coordinate, and direct computer-related activities within the organization. You will help determine the information technology goals of the organization and are responsible for implementing computer systems to meet company goals.

Having a dedicated location to work from home and be productive, free from distraction’s is a must!

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The IT Help Desk Supervisor should be able to successfully lead a team of IT help desk technicians to diagnose and resolve challenging problems quickly.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Managing IT Vendors and Licensing.
• Managing System Audits.
• Managing the Help Desk Team.
• Enforcing policies relating to the following:
• Hardware management
• Access request and approvals
• Software Management
• Endpoint patching
• System auditing
• Help Desk policies
• onboarding/offboarding
• Managing information systems. (e.g. Google workspace, AD, Email, etc)
• Managing non-inhouse software deployments and specific in house legacy advantage deployments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse team, spanning across multiple locations.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Understanding of support tools, technologies, and how they are used to provide services.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.

Education/Experience:

Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or in the similar discipline
• Experience in the field of technical operations or as an IT technician is also required.

Preferred:
• Google Workspace experience.
• Experience with ticketing systems.
• IT related certifications.
• Systems administration experience.

Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

$60 – $70 a year

This is a salaried position with the pay range being 60k-70k
