Position:
Join us as a hands-on IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager, where you’ll shape and manage our technology foundation. Reporting to the VP of IT, you’ll lead a skilled team to optimize IT operations, infrastructure, security, and innovation, supporting our continuous growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, guiding the skilled team of Sr. Systems Engineer, System Administrator, and IT Technicians to achieve operational excellence.
- Oversee the strategic design, planning, and implementation of our IT infrastructure to align with business objectives.
- Manage network architecture, ensuring connectivity, performance, and robust security measures.
- Lead server and systems management, optimizing efficiency, reliability, and resource allocation.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential for enhancing our IT landscape.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, identifying areas for enhancement and resource allocation.
- Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard data, systems, and networks.
- Develop and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data protection and business continuity.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure IT equipment, software, and services.
- Manage the IT budget, allocating resources effectively for projects, operations, and investments.
- Provide process improvement recommendations based on technology and industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in an IT leadership position.
- 7+ years of functional experience with core technologies and architectures including Hyper-V, Active Directory, IIS, SQL Server, WSUS, DNS, and DHCP.
- Strong understanding of network design, server management, and storage solutions.
- Ability to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies into existing infrastructure.
- Proficiency in hands-on performance monitoring, optimization, and security implementation.
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Experience in vendor and supplier management, budgeting, and cost optimization.
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage technical teams.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in IT management, networking, or systems administration are advantageous.
