Pay Range: The estimated salary range for this position is $115,940.00to $174,020.00 annually. Actual pay may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for incentive compensation.
This is can be a 100% Remote or Hybrid opportunity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive analytical engineering efforts, communicate, and collaborate across other business functions and be a subject matter expert
- Partner with key stakeholders across business functions, and responsible for collaborating and create actionable insights and enabling self-service
- Be a change agent and drive scale through data mesh ideology and democratization of data, by creating a culture of efficient, self-service data consumption
- Analyze data using basic statistical methods, interprets results, and provide written and graphical summaries of data analyses
- Leverage engineering methods and best practices to deliver well-defined, tested, documented, and code-reviewed shared data sets
- Help your team ideate and execute on the right analysis, models, and stories
- information needs. Create road maps and help prioritize analytics engineering work to improve team velocity
- Drive analytics engineering, design and optimize data models to support descriptive analytics, and key insights for our various business domains
- Actively coach and mentor team members in their careers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
Supervisory Responsibility
This position manages employees and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees.

Education
- (Minimum) Bachelor of Science in a data related fields such as Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, Software Development, Engineering, IT (if technical), Mathematics, or related fields.
- (Preferred) MBA or MS in Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field. MS in a technical field like computer science, math, physics, IT, or engineering is also acceptable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- (Minimum) 2+ yrs. of data or engineering management experience (or related).
- (Preferred) 5+ years of experience as a software engineer or related data experience
- (Preferred) 3-5+ yrs. In a cloud data warehouse (snowflake, Databricks, Big Query, etc.)
- Experience with modern data stack tools (Snowflake, Google Big Query, DBT, FIveTran, Matillion, Airbyte, Looker, ThoughtSpot, etc.)
- Exposure to multiple languages and frameworks (SQL, Python, Spark, etc.)
- Experience modeling data to be consumed by analysts and data scientist’s using BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Looker,mode, etc.)
- Experience working with business users to develop automated quality assurance error checks.
- Ability to make visualizations and tools to help others comprehend difficult topics.
- Experience with Agile software development (i.e., Jira and Confluence)
- Advanced understanding modern data warehouse practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including MS SQL Server.
- Experience with data pipeline and orchestration tools (Airflow,Fivetran).
- Prior experience with MS Dynamics 365 and Azure technologies is preferred.
- Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: C#, Python, Java, etc.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- May require 5-10% Travel.
- Must have regular and predictable attendance.
- Must possess a positive attitude, be a team player, have good interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work across company departments to build consensus.
- Must be able to sit/ stand for a long period in an office environment.
- Must possess dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, tools, and to handle other computer components.
- May lift and transport moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
