Project Manager will be assigned to support delivery of key projects within the Global Region and have the following responsibilities.
Role Summary:
Candidate will be responsible for the management and delivery of various (small to medium-sized) time limited projects in support of Global Delivery Office. Projects can range in content including (but not limited to) Product Launch activities, Operational Enhancement efforts, Strategic Partnership programs, Compliance, New Process and Technology Creation and rollout. Typically, the Project Manager works in close partnership with IT and our functional business areas. The PM holds overall accountability for the successful delivery of the Business deliverables. In projects where no technology creation or roll out is present the Project Manager holds overall accountability for the successful delivery of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously leveraging established project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
- Responsible for assembling a project team and defining team member roles and expectations.
- Build and maintain a network of business stakeholders and project sponsors.
- Accountable to manage day to day project work assignments for Business-owned tasks; drive work to meet agreed schedule and budget.
- Partner closely with functional business areas
- Develop and maintain integrated work plans, monitor progress against goals.
- Develop and maintain cross-functional, matrixed relationships with business, and Cigna IT partners.
- Identify Business staffing needs and secure necessary allocations.
- Timely escalation of barriers to success along with identification of potential solutions
- Provide concise and timely reporting tailored to appropriate stakeholder audiences.
- Ensure the development of business cases/cost benefit analysis which reflect project benefits and metrics while ensuring linkages to the financial plan.
- Manage Business activities within Business owned budget.
- Assist PMO in achieving overall budget adherence including weighing appropriate trade-offs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define and execute contingency planning and mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Assist PMO with implementation planning and execution including transition to Production activities. Approve Go / No-Go decisions.
Skills, Qualifications & Competencies
- 5 plus years project management experience. Demonstrated experience delivering complex projects on time and at or under budget (experience managing $2+ Million in project labor dollars in 12-month period)
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools
- Exemplary Project Management skills including scope management, issue / risk management, capacity planning, project scheduling and tracking documents.
- Experience developing and managing project plans; proficiency with Microsoft Project
- Skilled with Microsoft tools
- Track record of building teams with the best talent, successful resource allocation, and motivating team performance
- Experience in managing 20 plus (project) resources concurrently with strong preference for experience in a matrix environment.
- Strong financial acumen, proven ability to track and manage project budgets, track variances and execute clear financial reporting.
- Strong Communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels.

- Understands human resource policies and practices.
- Naturally curious with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Health Care and Insurance background a plus
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree required. PMP certification preferred not required.
Pay Transparency:
The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $44.57/hour-$59.42/hour.
