Position Description
As an Information Technology (IT) Service Operations Manager, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:
- Develop and enhance global Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes
- Monitor, analyze, and report statistical information related to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and propose enhancements to enhance departmental efficiency and effectiveness
- Prepare comprehensive documentation outlining processes and roles
- Take on the role of Incident Manager initially and establish an efficient incident and problem management process to enhance incident response
- Utilize IT Service Management (ITSM) tools like ServiceNow to design workflows and enhance service delivery
Position Requirements
This position requires the following skills and attributes:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Business, or equivalent relevant experience
- Possess an ITIL Foundations certificate
- Minimum of two years of experience in the IT service management field
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage and prioritize workload while utilizing available resources
- Display a willingness and adaptability to handle new situations and adjust objectives, if needed
Preferred
The following skills and attributes are preferred:
- ServiceNow experience
- Relevant IT technical training or certifications
- Work experience in an international environment
Benefits
The base compensation range for this role is $65000 – $104000 / year for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting.
