The IT Support Specialist position is responsible for Level 1 IT support, ticket triage, device support including but not limited to user account administration, PC and minor field device repairs, IT asset record maintenance, data usage monitoring, provisioning and configuration of devices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Monitor help desk tickets, resolving all Level 1 tickets and escalating / assigning remaining tickets appropriately.
    • Provisioning user new accounts, hardware and field devices in a timely manner.
    • Back Office App support for MS Office, Citrix, QuickBase, system backups, etc.
    • Ensure assets function properly for field usage.
    • Utilization of MDM tools for device provisioning and software upgrades.
    • Monitoring data usage of field allocated devices.
    • Maintain asset inventory records.
    • Cell Phone Support for field personnel.
    • Facilitate device repairs with external companies.
    • Facility Support Assistance.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Be detail oriented and able to accurately document problem diagnosis and resolution.
    • Comfortable working with fine tools performing minor mobile device repair.
    • Should have knowledge supporting the following applications and technologies in a fast-paced environment:
    • Familiarity with Mobile Device Operating Systems (Windows Mobile, Android, iOS)
    • Microsoft Office Application Suites (2003, 2007, 2010)
    • Microsoft Server and OS Technologies (Server 2003, 2008, MSSQL, Windows 7, Windows 8.1)
    • Symantec Application Technologies (SEP, SAV, BackupExec)
    • Active Directory, E-Mail, Exchange, Telephony Administration
    • Remote Support Applications (showmypc, TeamViewer, etc)
    • Ability to effectively solve problems.
    • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing at all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to work overtime as necessary.
    • Able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.

Education, Experience, Certificates, and Licenses:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience with MDM tools are desirable.
    • 2-5 years of previous IT experience supporting users in multi-location environments.
    • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred.
    • 2-5 years supporting Microsoft IT technologies.

Shift Days: Monday-Friday

Shift Hours: 8:00AM-4:30PM or 9:00AM-5:30PM(Available to work extra hours, weekends, and holidays preferred.)

Pay Rate: from $21.75 per hour (Dependent upon experience level.)
