What we are looking for:

TechMD is looking for a smart, capable, and all-around enjoyable IT Systems Specialist II

The IT Support Specialist 2 is responsible for handling second level support of service requests in a professional and timely manner. This relates to all technology, to include: workstations, servers, printers, networks, cloud services and vendor specific hardware and software.

  • First to respond to complex inbound service tickets
  • Work on service requests escalated by peers and service desk dispatcher
  • Second level IT Support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft’s core cloud, business applications and operating systems.
  • Train and mentor IT Support Specialists and Systems Support Specialist 1s and assist them with their work
  • Advanced technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
  • Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes, and agreed outages.

Requirements

  • 3 years of MSP or related experience
  • Preferably, one of the following: A+ , Network +, MSCA, Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Computer science or similarly related field
  • Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction.
  • Fast turnaround of customer requests.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Work with the Service Desk Dispatcher to ensure requests are routed to the proper resource in order to be resolved quickly and efficiently.
  • Escalate service requests that require higher level support.
  • Responsible for entering time and expenses in ConnectWise as they occur.
  • Enter all work as service tickets in ConnectWise.
