Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking an experienced professional to lead a team of AWS Cloud IT Systems engineers for an exciting opportunity within our Intel Community.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Lead a team of IT systems engineers, AWS cloud architects, Assessment and Authorization (A&A) practitioners, and database architects to reimagine, re-engineer, and re-host legacy core data system into a state-of-the-art, cloud-native design that is capable of scaling and extending to meet future data ingest, storage, and compute needs. As team lead, you will provide technical guidance to a team that is building purpose built data stores (including RDS Aurora PostegreSQL, S3, Neo4J, cCache Redis) hosted on Amazon’s Commercial Cloud Services (C2S).

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 10+ years’ experience in IT systems development, management, and deployment
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience implementing/deploying IT systems in Defense or secured Government Installations
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with Assessment and Authorization (A&A)
• DevSecOps Experience
• Proven leadership in guiding technical teams to successful, on-time delivery.
• Strong communication skills across management levels and functional teams
• Experience delivering briefings to customers from hands-on technical to senior leadership levels
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification or DoD 8570 Compliant certification.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly required

Desired qualifications:
• One or more AWS Certifications: AWS Solution Architect Associate, AWS Database Specialty, AWS SysOps Administrator – Associate, AWS Machine Learning Specialty.
• Experience with DoD or IC mission data systems
• Experience documenting solution architectures using DoDAF views

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $144,650 – $253,110.
