IT Technical Product Owner- REMOTE

JOB SUMMARY:

The IT technical product Ownercollaborates cross-functionally and cross-culturally to develop strong, trusting connections with stakeholders, uphold and exemplify our company values, and shape the culture. The IT Technical Product owner will also help shape and execute the product strategy that meets the department goals, engage in business case development, and ensure adherence to the Agile Scrum process. Success in this role is to be constantly thinking through the processes and needs of the business to support an efficient and error-free process for the end-user whether internal or external.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements.
  2. Defining the vision for the team’s product
  3. Creating a product road map based on this vision.
  4. Articulating the minimum viable product needs and requirements to technical and engineering teams
  5. Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements.
  6. Overseeing all stages of product creation and/or product implementation
  7. Developing user stories and artifacts that describe and detail products, features and services based on feedback from team.
  8. Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process.
  9. Creating acceptance criteria with the team
  10. Consulting with the product team and end-users/stakeholders to deliver updates.
  11. Creating UAT test cases, organizing and facilitating UAT testing, tracking test results, and collaborating with the agile team to resolve issues.
  12. Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints to refine, groom and accept stories and bugs for implementation.
  13. Collaborating with project management resources of external consulting teams when required.
  14. Performing other related duties as assigned

additional RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contributing to the maturity, performance, and growth of the Agile team
  • Experience and track record of success directing the efforts of developers as a project manager or product owner in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment.
  • Representing the team, when needed, to external stakeholders, leaders, and other teams to ensure alignment and understanding of the progress of the team.
  • Championing change and effectively managing the implementation of innovative ideas
  • Identifying opportunities for process optimization and redesign that will allow us to accomplish objectives more quickly and at a higher level of probability.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to build, prioritize and define workflows and requirements.
  • Reinforcing team approach throughout organization on internal initiatives
  • Supporting and soliciting input from team members at all levels within the organization
  • Complimenting the broader team with high quality and partnership
  • Continually defining ways to increase customer satisfaction and deepen business relationships.

Education and Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields
  • Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields is preferred.
  • Preferably 5 years or more experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology Agile and SDLC tools experience is a must.
  • In-depth experience working on external SaaS-related implementations.
  • Working knowledge of all aspects of IT
  • Working knowledge of product development architecture
  • Proficiency in the use of analytic tools
  • Exceptional knowledge of user-centered design principles
  • Understanding of design quality standards
  • ERP and CRM experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira and/or A/B Testing tools
  • SQL experience is preferred

additional eligibility qualifications/competencies:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of agile concepts (preferably Agile/SCRUM or PMP)
  • SAFe experience a plus, Certified SAFe®Product Owner a plus
  • Experience in the Healthcare industry a plus
  • Hands-on experience in leading process improvement initiatives
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of technical writing techniques.
  • Ability to analyze and develop business and technical requirements.

  • Business process, business analysis and data modeling
  • Ability to lead and facilitate meetings and groups.

  • Knowledge of computer flow charts and programming logic and codes
