Job Responsibilities

With general supervision, Installs, configures and troubleshoots network connectivity and desktop hardware and software. Support includes computer hardware, printers, operating systems, electronic mail, work processing, and local databases. Serves as a liaison between SCDPPPS business units and ITS customer service initiatives as it relates to the applied use of IT hardware and software resources by the SCDPPPS end user community. Works with ITS management staff and other ITS sections to create, document, identify and resolve end user support issues. Will be responsible for overseeing the technical support of SC Parole and Pardon hearings.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A high school diploma and experience in information technology, electronics technology systems, or other related areas. An associate degree or bachelor’s degree in a related field may be substituted for the required experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and experience in information technology, electronics technology systems, or other related areas. Experience in managing and supporting Cisco Webex devices and technologies. Experience in managing and supporting Polycom devices and technologies. Familiar with supporting courtroom, hearings, or meetings virtually or in person.
