Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Technology Services Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to design and develop systems, applications, products, services, and data to optimize/automate business processes.
Expectations and Tasks:
Improve work efficiency and provide the expert support in operations. Revise and update existing programs and provide require documentation. Facilitate the service and product lifecycle. Execute technical feasibility studies and solution reviews. Define and review technical blueprint for internal IT projects. Customize, develop, and implement solutions. Execute and support problem management and continuous improvement. Participate in de-escalation activities. Contribute to the Build to Run engagement and the technical standards and frameworks. Manage cloud technologies, associated architectural styles (e.g. microservices, containerization, serverless architectures) and web development stacks. Apply agile software delivery process and industry-standard toolset for DevOps implementation. Apply modern data processing technologies and methods. Apply modern SaaS platform, integration & extensibility concepts.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Work Experience:
- Utilize ABAP or OO ABAP for programming and development;
- Analyze business processes including technical feasibility studies or solution reviews;
- Perform code level technical and functional analysis requirements and issues;
- Performance Optimization for SAP custom objects;
- Full cycle implementation of SAP solutions, including Finance and Sales and Distribution;
- Upgrade and Migration of SAP Systems; and
- Support improvement and operational activities of SAP applications or modules.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $122,262 to $139,680. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $122,262 to $156,700. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
