Job Location : El Segundo, CA
Duration : Fulltime with Cognizant
Experience: minimum 10 years
Required Qualifications & Technical Skills: Java, Spring boot mS, React jS or Angular with Node js and AWS or Azure experience is nice to have
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with all support teams for any high priority issues Outage
- Should familiar with Java, Spring boot mS to be able to fix the production bug which are show stopper and deploy to production.
- Should be able to replicate the issue in lower environment and test and deploy the bug fixes.
- Application monitoring activities – daily jobs
- Incident handling – troubleshoot/debug user related tickets which are raised in the front end application which is being used in retail stores.
- Morning checkout, Regression in pre-production environment and also in production environment
- Additional Support during the weekend/monthly billing release
- Report preparation on adhoc request
- Production Team currently do the following activities
- Monitor Application
- Provide Governance reports
- Health check reports
- Production release report
- Defect Analysis
- Production Monitoring
- Micro service Health check report
- Production Team do need JAVA background as they need to read code and find out what was the root cause
- Experience in Dynatrace and AppDynamics
- Awareness of ELK is good to have but not required
- They just need to know, How to use Dashboards, How to Apply Filter, Kibana which can be trained quickly
- Currently, Dashboards are created by existing Elasticsearch support team.
- Elasticsearch support team manages Dashboards E2E, they give these dashboards to this team
- Primary task for the existing production team is to monitor the application
- Primarily L2 type support
Skill set: Java, Monitoring Tools, Linux, Shell Scripting, Dynatrace, ELK stack (Kibana etc), AppDynamics
Benefits: The annual salary for this position is between $117K – $130K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
