Job Title: Java Technical Lead
Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid, 3 days a week in office)
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Minimum 12+ years of experience in Software development and expert in Core Java.
- Should have 3+ years of experience in Spring Framework.
- Prior working experience in Video Domain and Cable Industry is Mandatory.
- Prefer to have experience in Java AWT.
- Experience in Java Server Client architecture, JMS, ActiveMQ, and JBoss server.
- Excellent in Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Leading engineers and deriving solutions end to end.
- Guiding their team through technical issues and challenges.
- Triage field issues and develop root cause analysis for individual components/services.
- Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.
- Understanding project requirements and developing a detailed structure.
- Responsible for end-to-end system understanding and proposing project/service improvements.
- Experience in the design, development, and implementation of IT systems.
- Experience in Distributed applications & Client-Server architecture.
- Experience in Linux/Unix commands.
- Responsible for designing and implementing bug fixes, enhancements, and performance improvements.
- Participate in requirement and technical discussions with Clients.
- Experience in Splunk.
- Excellent at doing Log analysis.
- Experience in JIRA
- Should have excellent analytical skills.
- Responsible for applications production releases planning.
- Responsible for 24/7 on-call support coverage between onsite and offshore teams.
Salary and Other Compensation :
The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 to $140,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
