We are looking for a strong leader that can craft our testing strategy and lead the successful planning and execution of end-to-end integrated testing cycles. This role will be an active member of the Innovative Medicines Supply Chain JJT team, driving global harmonized testing practices and implementation of process improvements and innovative technologies to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a Comprehensive Testing Strategy aligned with program objectives, timelines, and compliance requirements.
- Establish a robust Defect Management process and Key Performance Indicators to measure testing effectiveness.
- Coordinate creation of Detailed Test Plans, including test cases, scenarios, environments, testers and data sets.
- Coach and Train project team members on the overall program testing methodology, toolsets and individual aspects of each testing cycle.
- Lead a team of testing professionals and cross-functional resources, providing guidance and support.
- Report on Test Progress, Issues, and Defects to project team and senior management.
- Prioritize and track defects, working closely with development teams for timely resolution, and following up on validation of fixes.
- Pilot and embrace new technologies that drive improvements in testing processes (e.g., test automation, generative artificial intelligence).
Qualifications
Education:
- BA/BS or equivalent experience required. MA/MS/MBA preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- Minimum of 8 years related experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant end-to-end testing leadership experience, preferably in SAP implementations
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies and toolsets.
- Knowledge of end-to-end business process linkages across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Finance and Master Data functions.
- Experience with Agile methodology and strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle Management model and documentation.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams in a global environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with proven track record of influencing/collaborating to get to desired results.
- Analytical approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with SAP S4/HANA or other ERP systems.
- People management experience, inclusive of developing, mentoring, and coaching.
- Experience in the Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare and/or Medical Technology industries.
- Experience in a large-scale program driving business transformation.
- Certifications in areas of expertise (e.g., PMP, APICS, ISTQB, Lean, Six Sigma, Process Excellence, etc.).
Other:
- Must be proficient in English language in both written and verbal format.
- Travel required up to 25%, national or international.
