Job Summary
Responsible for making complex repairs on coaches, rebuilding components, training other employees in new skills, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION/TRAINING
- Completion of a bona fide apprenticeship program as a Transit Bus Repairer (Mechanics CURRENTLY classified as Transit Bus Journeyists and Master Journeyists are eligible).
- Graduation from high school or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
- Successfully pass standardized tests administered by the Authority.
- Successfully pass a mechanical and electrical aptitude tests administered by the Authority.
- Must have own tools.
- Able to pass DOT physical.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Utah Class ‘B’ CDL and passenger endorsement.
- Have no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Have no convictions for driving under the influence of alcohol, any drug, or the combined influence of any alcohol or any drug within the last 10 years.
- Must be or be able to become Fork Lift Certified.
- This job requires regular and predictable attendance.

Shift: 5:30 pm to 4:00 am with Friday/Saturday/Sunday off *

Pay Rate: $34.36 per hour
