Jr. Analyst – Reservation Systems

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will work to enhance the system by implementing new features, custom and out-of-the-box solutions like dynamic pricing. You will be part of a team of technical specialists that manage and maintain the Seaware software system, including following product updates, requesting product updates in Seaware, and identifying new opportunities for the company. You will turn business questions from stakeholders into clear system functional reports, data reports, and new company opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Learn Seaware Main and Seaware Touch systems. Become part of a team of technical owners of the Seaware software solution.
• Understand our data and support our reservation system. Oversight of voyage details, booking data, and the delivery of consistent and reliable data to our team and customers
• Work with a team to formulate, articulate and implement the Seaware integration plan.
• Establish a strong governance structure to ensure data integrity and effective decision-making.
• Design and implement a world-class reservation system management team.
• Work with internal stakeholders to help them understand Seaware, how to use it, and help them create User Acceptance Tests to validate system functionality.
• Stay up to date on Seaware features and feature releases, document use cases for using those features, and introduce them to the company to solve business solutions.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Education/Experience
• 3-5 years of technical experience working with cruise line reservation systems preferred.
• Business Analyst experience, ability to detail a software system, how it functions, how to load it, test it, train others, and ensure quality.
• Must have the proven ability to pay attention to detail in all tasks.
• History of positive work relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to various audiences.
• BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics preferred.
• Open to travel

$72,000 – $75,000 a year

The base salary range is between $72,000 to $75,000 plus target bonus opportunity.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear. The employee will also be required to write and type. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.

COMPENSATION STATEMENT

Lindblad Expeditions determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate’s region/town/cost of living.

For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant’s location, level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.
