Jr. Marketing Project Manager

The Marketing Project manager facilitates the completion of marketing initiatives through the support of planning, management, and execution of marketing campaigns. This team supports the Life and Annuity lines of business for Protective Life Insurance Company, as well as Protective’s Distribution Companies.

Responsibilities:

    • Supports the marketing project management and creative services in the execution and trafficking of projects. This person is responsible for coordinating compliance and firm reviews while relaying project priority and balancing capacity against determined deadlines.
    • Assist and support the Senior Marketing project management team
    • Build and nurture internal and external partner relationships
    • Take personal responsibility to complete high-quality projects on time
    • Communicate quickly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders
    • Identify risks and communicate quickly to the marketing project management team
    • Maintain reporting for project throughput and execution
    • Drive projects and tasks to completion through the coordination of compliance and firm reviews
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

    • 1+ years of marketing experience
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a concentration in marketing, communications, or related discipline.
    • Knowledge of sales and marketing processes, as well as investment products and services, are a plus.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage production within multiple mediums.
    • Ability to manage multiple high visibility, high urgency projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Ability to effectively communicate ideas and give direction.
    • Ability to exhibit a high degree of independence, dependability, and motivation.

This position is a Hybrid role and will work two days in either the Birmingham, AL, or Covington, KY office. This position is subject to our virtual workplace standards.

Note: Pursuant to Colorado law, Protective is providing the applicable salary range for Colorado residents.

Protective’s targeted salary range for this position is $59,500 to $69,500. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, job location, skills, and experience. The range listed is just one component of Protective’s total compensation package for employees.

This position also offers additional incentive opportunities through an annual incentive based on individual and Company performance
