Junior Logistics Supply Coordinator

Responsibilities

As a Logistics Supply Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting logistics requirements with the DMDC Worldwide Hardware Software program. Critical components include preparing inventory for shipments, receiving inventory from shipments, stocking equipment in support of datacenter and end user assets. In addition, the logistics supply coordinator works collaboratively with the customer and regionally align team members to execute the flow of material to and from the customer sites.

Must be U.S Citizen, and hold active DoD Secret clearance

  • Receives, ships, transports, tracks, inspects and accepts shipments into the DMDC WWHWSW facility and supports IT disposition.
  • Ensures IT asset management is in accordance with DOD regulations, FAR, and programmatic requirements.
  • Manages material accountability and inventory control, also advises on procedures for developing improvement processes.
  • Works with the Maintenance Helpdesk Team to ensure delivery information is current and verified prior to shipment.
  • Maintains program material logs and updates the IPMS with accurate and timely data in accordance with programmatic requirements.
  • Experienced with Handling Government Property, Inventory Control management, Supply Chain management, minor technical experience with IT replacement parts, IT requirements stock, and contracting services.
  • Maintains Inventory storage maintenance, Inventory Control, inventory upkeep.
  • Performs all functional responsibilities in a safe and responsible manner.

Qualifications

  • HS 4-5 or BS 0-2 Years
  • 1-3 years of experience in a Logistics environment (Shipping/ Receiving/ Warehouse)
  • Must be able to lift/move 50lbs+ and bend, stoop, squat etc.
  • Knowledge of ISO 20000
  • Experience working with tracking and routing software
  • Possess valid driver’s license
  • Experience using IT Management tools(tickets) such as SNOW & DPAS
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL®v3)
  • Experience using IT Management tools such as Remedy
  • Inventory Control and Management
  • Self-starter; able to manage multiple tasks efficiently for on-time delivery
  • Self-motivated; proactive; a team player; well spoken

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including experience communicating with technical and non-technical clients
  • Communication skills to communicate with customers, vendors and management
  • Planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
  • Analytical and problem solving skills to assist in managing the flow of goods
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong customer service skills

Target Salary Range

$39,000 – $62,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
