Description
Position Title: Jr. Maintenance Technician Site: Casa Kids Campus
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
GENERAL FUNCTION:Works with Facilities Team to ensure that the Casa Kids Campus in San Marcos is in good repair, clean and well taken care of.
QUALIFICATIONS: Flexible and able to respond to multiple demands. Willing to do what is asked in a timely manner, dependable and punctual. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must have auditory, visual and physical skills to be able to perform tasks as outlined in this job description. Must be able to clear a fingerprint background clearance.
MAJOR TASKS:
- Powerwashing pavement and stucco around campus.
- Clean walkways and parking lots utilizing blower on a regular basis.
- Pick up trash around entire campus on a weekly basis
- Exterior and Interior painting as assigned
- Mowing, cutting down weed areas to help with fire risk.
- Changing light bulbs.
- Cleaning common areas and making sure that areas are free of trash.
- Taking needed items to trash dumpster on campus.
- Loading and unloading of event trucks when needed.
- Cleaning all conference rooms, ensuring furniture is put back in its proper location.
- Landscaping as assigned (removing plants, mulching property)
- Keeping the trash enclosure area clean (powerwash regularly)
- Minor repairs as assigned.
- Cleaning Casa vehicles as needed
- Cleaning lighting fixtures around campus
- Keeping stucco free of cobwebs, etc.
EFFECT ON END RESULT: The Jr Maintenance Technician will be a support to the facilities department and help keep our main campus clean and in good repair.
