Power Systems/Analog Systems Engineer

Moseley Technical is proud to support this innovative engineering partner specializing in software and hardware solutions for acoustics, cybersecurity, weapon launch and control systems, surveillance, complex multi-tiered architectures, artificial intelligence, and machine learning for our National Defense.

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve TG hardware issues in the system integration and test, production, and power lab environments
- Troubleshoot software issues in TG in all above environments
- Electronics testing and test set development
- Resolve complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design issues
- Provide input to technical presentations, recommendations, and written communications which explain issues to the program management and Navy customer team
- Create, review, and execute hardware design documentation such as interface control drawings, assembly drawings, test procedures, and other technical documents
- Work with development, system engineering, and production teams to accurately identify, characterize, resolve, document, and track hardware deficiencies
- Evaluate components to determine performance impacts to existing designs.
- Work with the Navy, internal production staff, and representatives from other companies that provide companion systems and services to ensure TG systems meet all requirements, are delivered on time and function properly both in a laboratory environment and onboard U.S. Navy submarines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics or a realted technical field is required.
- 1-5 Years of engingeering experience preferred.
- Technical experience in power systems and/or analog electronics is preferred.
- Secret Clearance
- Technical acumen, an educational background, and expertise in power systems and/or analog electronics hardware troubleshooting.
- Rapidly adapt to handling power systems/analog technical issues found in system integration labs, field environments and production.
- Ability to steadily develop knowledge/expertise across the various in-house hardware designs and test systems.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Travel may be required as part of this position, but not on a regular basis.
- Overtime may be required as part of this position as needs arise.
